My Story

Mee Thyme started long before the chocolate

I’ve spent much of my adult life learning how to make time for myself inside a very full life. Mee Thyme grew from that search.

A full life can hold a lot

I had a difficult childhood, and much of my adult life has involved understanding what I carried forward from it while building a very different life of my own.

I spent 17 years in the Big Four as a CPA and management consultant. I got married, became a father of three, and built a career I was proud of. There was a lot that was good, and also a lot to hold at once: family, ambition, responsibility, and the work of making peace with where I came from.

Over time, I realized I needed a way to make room for all of it without losing myself in the process.

Making time became the point

As I tried to make sense of everything I was carrying, I found my way to Rumi. What stayed with me was a simple idea: sometimes we don’t need to add more. We need to make room for what is already there.

Over time, that became practical. Time to read. Time to run. Time to cook. Time with my family. Sometimes time simply to understand what I was feeling. Making time for myself wasn’t always about being alone. It became a way of being more present for the life, and the people, already around me.

Then I went back to school

After nearly two decades in professional services, I went to Wharton for my MBA. I arrived with an established career, a family, and a pretty clear sense of who I was professionally.

Wharton gave me the chance to question some of that. I started thinking less about the next step on the path I was already on and more about what I would choose to build if I started with something personal to me.

That’s where Mee Thyme began to take shape. The earliest versions of the idea came into the classroom with me, long before the product became what it is today.

The idea became chocolate

Food has always been part of how I understand comfort and connection. Some of my earliest memories are of cooking with my father, and that stayed with me. Food can be familiar, generous, and deeply personal.

Chocolate felt especially right. I wanted to make something people would genuinely look forward to eating, where flavor and texture mattered just as much as what was inside it.

The cannabinoids were part of the recipe from the beginning. Broad-spectrum CBD, CBG and CBC are blended in carefully chosen proportions, while the chocolate remains exactly that: chocolate worth enjoying.

The name became the promise

Mee Thyme is there when you decide to make time for yourself. It does not tell you what that time should look like or what you should get from it.

It might be a few quiet minutes, time with the people you love, a run, a meal, or simply being more present to what is already there.

Mee Thyme keeps you company in that moment, and stays with you for whatever comes next.

You’re allowed a moment for yourself. Mee Thyme is here with you, and for whatever comes next.
